Who we are
This setting has been a special place for our family since 1981. Although our family has never lived here year-round, we have gathered here during all seasons to reconnect, enjoy, and create memories. In 2008, we said goodbye to the original orange “pumpkin chalet” and built this custom home.
We literally designed the floor plan at the dinner table. The priority was to create a main level capable of supporting a household bustling with of activities.
After parking, only a handful of steps are required to access the main level of the home. This main level offers a space for meal prep, dining, entertaining, a laundry room, a master suite, and a peaceful sunroom.
We also wanted to host family and friends under one roof. No more staying at nearby hotels or imposing on our gracious neighbours. The second floor is designed to host 3 families of various sizes (10 sleepers, not counting cribs) and a Jack-n-Jill bathroom to accommodate.
The basement is designed to cater to the young-at-heart looking for their “own space”. The space boast a large open floor plan that includes a kitchenette, table for 6, large bathroom, TV, couches, foosball table, and various twin beds to support 7 sleepers.
The yard has ample flat space to play badminton, corn-hole, etc. (all these supplies are stocked and ready for use.). The private beach is a very short flip-flop walk down the road. Many neighbours use golf carts to get to and from the private beach. Fortunately, our home sits so close to the beach that we have never felt the need. The home is stocked with a large collection of beach toys, chairs, and towels that can be loaded into our hand cart. This makes it easier to get supplies to and from the beach. If the cart is not big enough, the private beach offers plenty of free parking for you to take all that you want.
